Moss currently works in chaplain services at a Palo Alto Hospital, a job that allows for close proximity to her therapist. "I've been talking to a lot of Vietnam vets," she observes, "and they say, 'Don't be like us. Don't you dare be like us. You get your help. You saw a lot of things in the war. We paved the way for you guys to get this care. Make sure you get your care.' I was always thankful that they did endure so much, especially not being welcome when they came home. I couldn't imagine being in another country, but you're there because you have orders. Then you come back, and people are spitting on you. I couldn't even imagine something like that."
