Born in Henan (unlike most of the Mao impersonators Bonaventura photographed, who are from Hunan), Du Tianqing has appeared as the Chinese leader in public and private as well as on celluloid. His film credits include Mao Zedong at Qingdao and The General Zhang Xueliang.
