Zheng Jiang, 56, discovered his resemblance to Communist China founder Mao Zedong in 2005 while he was visiting Yan'an, where an early base used by the Chinese communists is now a popular tourist attraction. On that occasion, other tourists crowded around him, clamoring to have photos taken with "the President." He now appears in soap operas and patriotic movies.
