All the Lonely People
By the time Abbey Road was released in September 1969, the four musicians had pretty much ended their partnership. John and Yoko performed with Eric Clapton at the Toronto Rock & Roll Revival, Ringo Starr pursued acting opportunities, and George focused on his own work. He had already released two solo albums of primarily instrumental music, Wonderwall Music and Electronic Sound, but he had a huge backlog of work on tape. Many of the songs the group rejected would appear on his 1970 triple-album solo release, All Things Must Pass.
