1993 was a big year for Dr. Martens. At the age of 33, the boots had become mainstream. No longer relegated to the feet of ruffians and punk rockers, Docs were now launching the bubblegum careers of Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears and Ryan Gosling on The Mickey Mouse Club.
