In 2007, Jon and Kate Gosselin won over television audiences with their supersize family of eight and all-American style. But as with so many married couples who had gone before, reality TV was not kind to Jon and Kate. And so, during the 2009 season of Jon and Kate Plus 8, the two filed for divorce. Silver lining: the episode that aired after the divorce became public was one of the most viewed cable-television programs of the year.
