Nick and Jessica: Newlyweds Get Real
Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey were newly married pop tarts when MTV suggested the two star in a reality-TV show. The Newlyweds turned Jessica and Nick into household names, pushing Simpson's records to the top of the charts and making A-list TV stars out of the B-list teen dreams. The show's final episode aired on March 30, 2005. In August of that year, Simpson released a cover version of "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'," and then four months later filed for divorce.
