Following George Harrison's lead with the Concert for Bangladesh, ex-Beatles bandmate Paul McCartney launched a 1979 supergroup collaboration dubbed Rockestra for the victims of Pol Pot's purges in Cambodia (and released "Rockestra Theme" on the album Concerts for the People of Kampuchea).
