Since the eighth jamboree, the festivities have been held at different locations around the world. During the event, Scouts have an opportunity to interact with others from around the globe, trade badges and take part in challenging outdoor activities. At the last jamboree, held in 2007, Scouting was officially recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest youth organization in the world.
