Two months ago, Liberthson-Brown, a senior in high school, was laid off from the day-care job she held for two years. The facility had many fewer kids to tend to than it did a year ago. Unlike the prom and college applications, layoffs are not what most people think of as a teenage experience. But in the worst job market for young people on record, more and more teens are being expelled from work.
