On a distant planet called Pandora, humans and indigenous inhabitants, the Na'vi, engage in a war over the planet's extremely valuable mineral unobtainium. Director James Cameron has spared no expense developing a new, highly complex three-dimensional system of combining live action and computer generated effects to bring the battle for Pandora to the screen. The film opens Friday, Dec. 18.
