Like Schwarzenegger, Lou Ferrigno used his bodybuilding success to develop a career in Hollywood, most notably as Bill Bixby's alter ego in the television series The Hulk. But unlike Schwarzenegger, Ferrigno was christened Mr. Universe by the NABBA's American rival, the International Federation of BodyBuilders, which was forced to abandon its claim to the title in 1976, the last year that Ferrigno won.
