In 1975, the Pythons turned their attention to the big screen by writing, directing and starring in Monty Python and the Holy Grail, a send-up of the Arthurian legend. Graham Chapman takes the lead as King Arthur, who, along with the other knights of the Round Table, prances around the kingdom atop an imaginary steed whose hoof beats are sounded by a pair of coconuts.
