Not Lost in Translation
A biblical inscription in Latin was found on this gold strip while one of the archaeologists was cleaning the 1,400-year-old item. It's from the Book of Numbers 10:35 and reads, "Rise up, O Lord, and may thy enemies be dispersed and those who hate thee be driven from thy face."
