Athens Threatened by Wildfires

Burning Hills
Wildfires rage in the distance behind the famous Acropolis hill as the winds bring the fires ever closer to the city. The fires began late Friday in Grammatiko, near Marathon. They're the worst since the 2007 wildfires which killed around 70 people.
