Although he retired in the 1960's, Paul was inducted in to the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1978 and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988.

Paul was inducted in to the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1978 and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988. He won two more Grammys in 2006 for his album "Les Paul and Friends: American Made, World Played."
