On weekends, Daniel visits his biological mother Constance in San Antonio. Though she loves her son, Constance (who clips her son's nails in this photo) struggles with his autism and has reconciled herself to his life with a caregiver, though it means he must live in a different city. She hopes that someday he will return to live with her.
