Neverending Television

Windfall Films

Nova, 1974
America's longest running science show, Nova has run on PBS for 35 years. Never limiting itself to hard or soft science, producers will literally do a show on anything, which is sort of what has made it so watchable decade after decade. It does not shy from cheesy re-enactments, however, hence this picture above, of 19th-century inventor of the vacuum flask James Dewar, and his assistants.
