The group's 1992 tour showcased an extravagant, bewildering array of video screens, upside-down cars, mock transmission towers and Bono's over-the-top stage characters like the "Mirror-Ball Man", above. Unlike the group's previous stage sets, which were distinctively austere, the Zoo TV tour look mocked the excesses of rock and roll by appearing to embrace them.
