This photo was taken on Obama's last rally in Manassas, Virginia. Obama had just lost his grandmother. Says Poor, "Everyone stuck their hands up to get a picture just as Obama appeared and then, in silence, listened to him talk movingly, however tired and depressed he might have been. I remember feeling as if everyone there was united."
