War and Displacement in Congo

 Thousands of Congolese people fled to Goma from the Rugari town and from the Kibumba IDP's camp yesterday and they slept on the side of the road after violence started between Forces loyal to renegade Laurent Nkunda and the Congolese army.

Sad Statistics
Woman and children gather at the IDP camp in Kibati. It is estimated that there are 24.5 million IDP's around the world, and it's thought that between 70 and 80% of them are women and children.
