Women laborers rest on a pile of cotton in a warehouse in China's Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region. Over a million migrant pickers gather cotton between September and October every year. Each worker picks an average of 2,500 kilograms of cotton in the two months, earning about 300 euros for their labors.
