Coffins bearing the bodies of Georgia soldiers lie in a field near Tskhinvali. Placed here by Georgian detainees, the coffins remained unburied for five days. When Photographer Kozyrev asked a local official why the bodies had not been interred, he was told that no digging equipment was available.
