A robot jockey rides a camel before a race at Nad al-Sheba in Dubai, where, controversially, children from India have been used to handle the animals. Equipped with shock absorbers and GPS tracking systems, the jockeys are controlled by the camel's owners from the sidelines. They cost almost $300,000.
