The room in the basement of a house where a woman was held imprisoned for 24 years in the small Austrian village of Amstetten.

Living Hell
Believing that she had gone missing, Elisabeth's parents received a letter in September 1984, written in her own handwriting. The letter asks her parents to stop looking for her. At the time police say they believed she had become a member of a sect. In reality, Elisabeth had been imprisoned in the family's basement.
