...where about 30 members descended to spend nearly six months waiting for the world to end. They threatened to set themselves on fire if any attempt was made to remove them from the cave. Kuznetsov said that act would be considered "martyrdom", not suicide. He was stopped before he could join them underground. After most of the sect was convinced to re-emerge, Kuznetsov apparently attempted suicide.
