Roving Herd
Goats browse, rather than graze, which means that they prefer to eat tougher woody plants instead of tender grass shoots. This natural inclination makes them ideal for weed clearing, a fact that the city of Cheyenne, Wyoming has put to practical use. This herd of 1200, minded by dogs and goatherds, is moved from location to location within the city each summer.
