Teens in America: Class Pictures
Mark
My first football game I didn't really know what I was doing because I wasn't
really into football that much. I didn't know the rules and stuff. I was in the ninth grade, and they asked me if I wanted to play football. I said okay. I showed up for the game. I didn't have one day of practice. I didn't know what was going on. The coach told me I had to play, "We need you," they told me, "you're playing line," and I was like, "What is line?" I didn't even know what it was, so then they just put me in there. They told me who to stand by and stuff. I was running up and hit somebody, and I didn't really know what I was doing. They were calling penalties on me. Our score was zero the whole game until the last two seconds, and we scored two points and won. But I didn't really know what I was doing. They just told me, "Get in there." Now I'm a veteran, and I want people to remember that Mark Ramos is the best lineman at Chadsey.
