The water in Lake McKenzie is so clear that if you go canoeing at night with a torch, you can see the small turtles from 5 m away. The reflection of the stars in the water when you look down makes you feel like you're canoeing through space. During the day it can get pretty busy but there are times and certain spots when you feel you have the whole lake to yourself: have a swim, then lie down and relax on the purest, whitest sand you will ever see.
