Light at the Museum
Holl's new addition to the original Nelson-Atkins building, which opened in 1933, is called the Bloch building. Holl calls its five glowing structures "lenses." This is the first and largest of them, adjacent to the eastern side of the original museum, as seen from Rockhill Rd.
