Two years later, Ford starred in Wolfgang Petersen's Air Force One. Cast as heroic U.S. President James Marshall, Ford has to battle Kazakhstani terrorists who have taken over his ride. A true action star, Ford likes doing (most of) his own stunts — even taking punches to the face. "Harrison doesn't care if he has all sorts of black marks on his body," says Petersen. "When his face was really red and swollen, I'd just push back close-ups a few days."
