Hard Work Pays Off
In addition to his weekday work at the local New York station, Roker began doing weekend weather at the Today show. When Today's longtime weatherman Willard Scott retired in 1995, Roker was the heir apparent. His one complaint at this widely-watched show? "Our problem is that sometimes we have too much fun. We forget we're on television."
