New Hampshire
During the 2008 campaign, Paul defied the pundits and consistently polled well, albeit not enough to win the nomination. His campaign generated an intense level of grassroots support. In the Iowa primary, he took 10 percent of the vote; in Montana, he won 25 percent. In New Hampshire, above, he polled at eight percent.
