Scarborough's success at Scarborough Country led to the creation of his present weekly morning show, Regular Joe, which was originally conceived as a filler for Imus in the Morning, when that program was abruptly cancelled. By the time the Imus show returned, Scarborough had attracted a sizable audience of his own and Regular Joe carried on at a new time slot.
