Good news for parents of children with lazy eye, or amblyopia. A study in Ophthalmology found that kids who got atropine eyedrops twice on weekends improved their vision as much as children who got drops every day. What’s more, the weekend drop treatment turned out to be about as beneficial as wearing an eye patch daily.
