In her new work, Bernhard draws on her boundless imagination to pay homage to her housepainter, Jewish mysticism and Brenda Vaccaro while conjuring up ad campaigns for Mother Teresa-inspired day wear. Do we mind that Bernhard’s reflections can be a bit too solipsistic, a bit over the top? Nope.
