SCIENCE AND THE SHROUD

As a scientist and a Catholic, I believe the Shroud of Turin is the burial cloth of Christ [RELIGION, April 20]. Perhaps the only conclusion that will satisfy everyone is that for those who have true faith, no explanation is necessary; for those who do not, no explanation is possible. WILLIAM J.
