On any playground, in any nursery school, Brittany Abshire and West Redington would blend in perfectly with the other kids and the schoolyard clamor. Brittany, 2 1/2, is a chubby, mischievous chatterbox, and West, who turned one in August, is a grinning, inquisitive toddler who loves clambering up steps and the back of the sofa.
