Of George Bush’s 69 nominees to federal judgeships so far, 93% percent are white, 88% are male, and 64% report a net income over $500,000, according to a survey by People for the American Way, a liberal lobbying group. That makes Bush’s record almost identical to Ronald Reagan’s.
