Even without the French-American gala, it would have been a busy social week for Nancy Reagan. On Sunday she and President Reagan sneaked out of the White House in an unmarked motorcade to celebrate her birthday at a Washington restaurant with two old California friends, U.S. Information Agency Director Charles Wick and his wife Mary Jane.
