An unusual cry was heard last week in the Philippines: "G.I.s come back!" Some 300 bar girls, who usually work in clubs located just outside Clark Air Base, 60 miles northeast of Manila, were protesting to get back their customers. After Filipino strikers blockaded the base's gates on March 21 in a bid for more severance pay, the barmaids found themselves separated from their main source of income. But the women finally took matters into their own hands. A large band of irate bar girls, many dressed in tight-fitting shorts and braless tops, stormed the picket line at the Clark base....
