The accused rapist: a drifter from Georgia. The accuser: a 22-year-old woman who was wearing a white lace miniskirt, a green tank top and no underwear on Nov. 6, 1988, when she claimed she was kidnaped at knifepoint from a Fort Lauderdale restaurant parking lot and raped twice. The jury’s verdict last week: not guilty, on the ground that she had solicited sex. “We all feel she asked for it for the way she was dressed,” explained jury foreman Roy Diamond.
