Discrimination?

There are now nearly twice as many Americans going to college as before the war, and the number of Jewish students has increased proportionally, the Jewish B'nai B'rith reported. But B'nai B'rith was alarmed over another figure: in graduate and professional schools the percentage of Jewish students dropped from 14.2 in 1935 to 10.6 in 1946. In dental schools, the proportion had dropped from 28.2% to 18.9%. Concluded B'nai B'rith: "The decline . . . is due, at least partly, to increased discrimination against Jews in professional schools. . . ."
