A great many Army wives, keeping the home fires burning for U.S. soldiers in England, are regular readers of the Army newspaper Yank, which their husbands send back from overseas. Last week the ladiesthemselves were burning at Yank’s playful soldier-editors. The paper has been printing lessons in French for the men who expect to invade France. In one lesson they were told exactly how to say, “My wife does not understand me.”
