For 1943 the U.S. has set its production goal as a ratio, not a number, but the ratio is staggering: double the amount produced last year. Up will go the proportion of aircraft, shipping, naval vessels. Down will go the proportion of tanks, artillery, ammunition. But the total is to be up 100%.
