Westbrook Pegler's ''Fair Enough" column appeared last week in the Seattle Post-Intelligencer with the following blast: "Genius has followed the election returns in the case of Mrs. John Boettiger, the President's daughter, for she also went journalistic after Mr. Roosevelt's first election and, within the last year, above all the thousands of professional newspaper women in the United States who need jobs by which to live, has been singled out as peculiarly qualified for sub-editorship on one of Mr. Hearst's newspapers."
