Indicted by a federal grand jury in Denver last week: 14 officials and staff members of the Communist-dominated International Union of Mine, Mill and Smelter Workers. They were charged with conspiring to defraud the U.S. by obtaining the services of the National Labor Relations Board without lawfully qualifying the union for those services, i.e., some had "pretended" to resign from the Communist Party and had filed false non-Communist affidavits with the NLRB.
