Richard Applegate, 40, NBC correspondent captured in 1953 by the Chinese Communists while cruising on a small yacht west of Hong Kong, and released last fall after 18 months' imprisonment; and Barbara Barrows Hoerter, 38, Applegate's lecture manager; both for the second time; in Chicago. Serving as best man was I.N.S. Correspondent Donald Dixon, who was captured with Applegate and released by the Chinese at the same time.
