After all the ups-and-downs counting of the 1958 elections, the Gallup poll this week found Democrats favoring a party leader who had barely participated in the campaign. Indeed, Two-Time Loser Adlai Stevenson's following increased impressively over last June, when the pollsters took a pre-election look at 1960 presidential preference.
