For its first annual meeting on the West Coast, Westinghouse Electric Corp. rented a circus tent, set it up at the company’s Sunnyvale, Calif. plant to accommodate some 1,000 stockholders from 15 states. Westinghouse President Gwilym A. Price reported that sales for the first two months of this year were up 11% and earnings up “substantially.” If business continues to be good, said Price, the directors will consider a special dividend before the year’s end.
